We just got back from Quepos where my father lives and the entire family got spa treatments of various types (facial, full body, and shoulders and neck massages) and all the experiences were exceptional. The staff was very courteous, professional and welcoming and the spa itself beautifully decorated and maintained. Nothing beats the sound and smells of the rainforest as you are receiving a fabulous massage by real professionals. Thank you RAINDROP SPA for contributing to the near spiritual feeling we get when visiting Costa Rica! jleips, Mount Airy, Maryland

I went to this place about a week ago and I wish I could stay there. The attention to detail was incredible. As soon as my taxi pulled up into the parking, before I even entered the building, I already could smell bloosoms. When I came into the building you could feel the serenety. The lady gave me some fresh pinapple juice and I waited in their sitting area that looked like it came out of a zen designer magazine. Then I walked into the massage room and it took my breath away! The massage table/bed is facing a private courtyard that looked like a paradise. The massage was wonderful and when ever I would open my eyes I was able to see these yellow flowers floating in water in a wooden container. As soon as I went back to my hotel this is what I put on my facebook status "WOW! Just WOW... Going to that spa was amaizing!! It looked like paradise, smelled like blooming flowers, felt like an angel´s touch, and it sounded like heaven! BEST massage I could have asked for." dianita84, Chicago, Illinois

Neither one of us has ever had a "SPA DAY" until our visit to the Raindrop spa. We stayed at "Hotel Villa Roca" and were recommended by the hotel to go to Raindrop spa. We had an appointment for 10 am, upon arriving we were greeted with a glass of a very nice fruit drink and led to a reception area, after filling out a brief questionnaire about the areas needing massage we were taken to our couples massage room. From that point on we were pampered as though we were kings. We experienced a deep tissue massage, facial, light body scrub and finally ending with a Mani/Pedi. We will be returning to experience such pampering again and would recommend all to visit "RAINDROP SPA". WatersMain, Rogers, Arkansas

This past trip was my third visit to the Raindrop Spa, and once again it was one of the highlights to my Costa Rican vacation. When you enter the Balinese designed spa you are greeted with a fresh glass of juice, and brought to your treatment room which looks out onto the beautiful rainforest landscape. There you will have the same therapist for all your treatments, which are absolutely wonderful! This trip I had the Chocolate Package, a 2 hour treatment which consisted of a Swedish Massage, Facial, and Chocolate Body Wrap for only $100US! Don't let the price fool you, this package was as blissful as any spa I have ever been to. You can also take Yoga classes on Mon-Weds. David D'Amore, is a caring instructor whose top priority is to make sure you achieve the most out of your class. I promise you, there is no other spa in Manuel Antonio that can give you the complete spa experience that Raindrop will without breaking your vacation budget! Loper051, Clermont, Florida

Raindrop Spa in Manuel Antonio is very professional, beautiful, and worth visiting! I had a very good relaxing massage inside the spa while looking outside into the tropical jungle garden. It was cool to see the monkeys playing in the big bamboo tree afterwards! Balinese style decor brought a feeling of tranquility even before I had my massage. Their spa menu is quite extensive as well. I will be back! Christine33_11, Kitchener, Canada

My husband and I recently spent 8 days in Manuel Antonio and had a couples massage at the raindrop spa. The setting was beautiful, the doors to the massage rooms were open to a garden where sounds of running water and birds set the backdrop. We were offered a refreshing fresh juice upon entering and our massage therapists were very soothing and calm. The almond oils smelled so good and a bucket of fresh vibrant flowers floated in water under the head rest. The massage was very relaxing and reasonably priced. smaul15, Frederick, Maryland

The spa is simple. The options are typical. The massage therapist (Amber? yikes I forget started with an A), was more than words can say. She was able to work out knots, general muscle ache without any pain which is not normal for me. She was so great I scheduled another appointment later that week just because it was such a relaxing experience. The Raindrop Spa has the most beautiful, relaxing interior and environment, better than anything I've seen in the US. We only had the short neck and back massage, but my whole upper body felt so incredibly relaxed afterwards, and my husband was also totally amazed with his massage as well. I am a Physical Therapist and was particularly impressed with the techniques they used, both the massage and the stretching of the shoulders/upper body, excellent combination. landofdaisies, New Orleans, Louisiana

Just spent 10 days in Manuel Antonio. What a great place. If you go you must visit The Raindrop Spa. I had the salt body scrub, hot stone massage and mud skin treatment. I don't remember the name of the package. It was $150 and sooo worth it. The most relaxing, peaceful, 2 hours I have had in a long time. The room you are in is open to the jungle on one side so all you hear the entire time is the sound of nature. Birds, bugs, water trickeling, wind rustling through the trees. I thought it was one of those nature CD's at first. So beautiful. I highly reccomend The Raindrop Spa! sonjapinkdaisy, Corona, California

Had the Full Moon Package and a private yoga class, which were wonderful. The package included couples' massage (deep tissue or relaxation massage), body wrap (chocolate wrap), and sirodhara (drizzling of essential oils to the forehead, "third eye".) The massage was one of the best we've had- our massage therapists were highly skilled and professional; the chocolate wrap was luxurious; and the sirodhara (first time for us) was intensely relaxing. Spa treatment room opened to a beautiful garden, and was lovely listening to the birds and rain during our treatments. The price is more than reasonable. Would highly recommend. This was our second time visiting Manuel Antonio, and at least our fourth trip to Raindrop Spa. Spa Uno was closer to our house, and a lot of our group went there instead. We finally convinced them to try Raindrop, and everyone was immediately impressed. The two spas are just leagues apart. Raindrop has a zen, calming atmosphere. The staff come across as seasoned professionals, and the prices are better - which astounds me. You must absolutely request Martha if at all possible. I oversee a company with several spas in the US, and I have to say Raindrop Spa is a top notch operation. At first I balked a little at paying US level prices, but the chocolate wrap was absolutely worth every penny. We were there with a bridal party and had essentially the run of the place. My friend and I did the chocolate wrap, which was an amazing, multistage skin treatment and massage. The practicioners were fantastic, though a bit too firm for my friend, they did not ask about level of intensity. For me it was ideal. The setting was gorgeous, we were side by side in a room with tranquil music that opened over a beautiful garden and fountain. Absolutely recommend this place, and definitely go for the chocolate! monkey_family4, Portland, Oregon

I had a package of massage, wrap and facial while staying in Manuel Antonio for the weekend. The people were absolutely wonderful and I had an amazing experience. Pros: The massage was phenominal, The atmosphere was tranquil and beautiful. Cons: Nothing to prepare any of the facial/body wrap items were in the room, so she kept having to leave to prepare it, The order was massage, wrap, facial and I think it would have gone to a DIVINE experience if I had been able to end it with freshly exfoliated skin having oil massaged into it. I took my wife 30-miles offshore on a fishing trip and although we caught some fish, the ride in was a little bumpy. I figured the best way to get back in her good graces was to hook her up with a nice spa treatment. She went to the Raindrop Spa and was raving about it when she came back to the hotel. She liked it so much she set up another visit for the both of us. I was not disappointed. The Raindrop Spa is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful little hillside with monkeys climbing around the trees outside. A very serene and relaxing environment to say the least. I was very exhausted and burnt out from the wedding and traveling so much, but the time I spent at the spa was very relaxing and refreshing! It was very easy to book an appointment and I suggest asking if they are doing any special packages when you book. I booked a special spa package that was easily $50-75 cheaper than all the services combined. I got a spa facial, massage, and Thai honey body wrap. (I strongly recommend the Thai honey body wrap!) The therapist was very accommodating, and seemed very experienced and knowledgeable. My favorite part about Raindrop Spa is the amazing atmosphere. The building itself is beautifully decorated and you feel like your are right in the heart of the jungle, with monkeys and birds right out side the doors! During my session it started raining outside and she opened all the doors to give me the full nature experience. It was so wonderfully relaxing, I cannot say enough about how pleasant it was! My husband and I got massages here while staying at Manuel Antonio Estates. You don't have to be staying there to use the spa, however, we were offered a 10% discount because we did. The spa is in a gorgeous building - I have been to a variety of spas, including Tabacon Lodge near Volcan Arenal, and this setting is one of the loveliest. The massage room has two massage tables and doors that open to an outside garden area that is green and peaceful. They also offer yoga classes here. Prices are reasonable. The website is very helpful - www.raindropspa.com. There are photos of the facility, too. If you need a nice spa experience, I would recommend Raindrop. khot, Kansas City
