Where is Raindrop Spa Located?Raindrop Spa is located in Manuel Antonio Estates Property, on your left hand going out of Quepos on the road to Manuel Antonio Beach.
Who will help me decide what treatment is best for me?
One of our Body and Beauty Specialists will help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best sequence for packages, and treatments for specific muscle concerns. Please review our menu for options.
What do I wear?
You may wear what is the most comfortable for you. Undergarments may be worn during massage, and you may use a swim suit for Vichy showers. We recommend wearing loose fitting clothes for Thai or Ashiatsu Massage.
When should I arrive?
The earlier the better. We recommend checking in 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment, allowing you time to enjoy refreshment, complete your client questionnaire, and relax. When you schedule a “pick-up”, the Raindrop air conditioned Mercedes van will arrive at your destination 15-25 prior to your scheduled treatment. We will also return you to your destination after your spa day.
Are gratuities included?
Gratuities are not including in the spa service price list. You may leave a gratuity amount that reflects the enjoyment of your spa experience. These go directly to your therapist.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made a minimum of 6 hours prior to appointment. Less than 6 hours ½ of treatment price is charged. All no-shows will be charged 100% of treatment price. Please don’t forget about your appointment.
Can I reserve the spa?
Yes, of course. Our facility is ideal for retreats, bridal parties, and various workshops. You may make arrangements to have a private day, please speak with a Spa Professional for more details.
May I request a male or female therapist?
Yes, you may, although we cannot guarantee the availability of a particular therapist. All of our Spa Professionals are trained to respect your privacy, and use proper draping during your treatment.
What if I am late?
Please don’t be late, this may affect your total treatment time. Depending on time, this may be classified as a no-show and you may be charged. We do have complimentary and private transportation, that should allow you to be on time.
Are there any precautions?
We recommend eating and drinking, moderately, and avoid alcoholic beverages. Please don’t shave prior to a salt or body scrub. Be aware a sunburn may inhibit your enjoyment of spa treatments. We do provide services that will soothe the effects of sunburned skin.
What about payment?
We accept dollars, colones, Visa, MasterCard, and Traveller’s checks. Please note when using a credit card there is an added service charge of 13% of the total treatment price. You may pay at the time of service in reception. A valid credit card number is preferred to hold your appointment.
What about kids?
Kids are welcome. We recommend they are over the age of 13. It is a great idea to have a Mother/Daughter or Father/Son spa day, and a great way to introduce them to skin and body therapies. Please inform a Spa Professional of your child´s age prior to scheduling.
What products do you use?
We have a full line of prestigious facial products called MASC, which are proven to get results. We can direct you to which products and sequence would be ideal for sensitive, oily, problem, and mature skin. Speak with a Body and Beauty Specialist for more personalized service. These are available in our spa boutique, and we can get them to you in the U.S.
